Winter Wonderland Tux
Enjoy the winter in all its different forms ...
Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing - or better still tobogganing? The winter in Tux is multifaceted. ****Sporthotel Kirchler is situated in the heart of the Zillertal 3000 skiing area, which means "put your skies on - and away you go!"
Skiing in Tux
There is a practice lift directly in front of the hotel, which is ideal for beginners and children.
A free ski-bus conveniently takes you to the nearby skiing areas at Eggalm and Rastkogel or to the Hintertux Glacier, which is 7km away.
Cross-country skiing
Get moving! You can join the cross-country skiing trail directly from the hotel. 14km are freshly prepared on a daily basis for 'classic' cross-country skiers and skaters.
The trail takes you along the Tux Stream from Vorderlanersbach as far as Madseit.
Ski tours in the Zillertal Alps
The Zillertal Mountains are one of the largest skiing areas in Austria, but you will still find unspoilt valleys offering wonderful ski tours.
Our mountain guides will take you on a guided tour to the best slopes in Zillertal.
Togganing in Tuxertal
There is also plenty of fun to be found away from the piste! Tux offers 3 floodlit toboggan runs, which can also be reached by taxi. So - go for it!
